Consumer Savvy
The InCharge® Education Foundation assessed, designed and developed the Consumer Savvy consumer education program in cooperation with the National 4-H Cooperative Curriculum System (4-H CCS); the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Cooperative State, Research, Education and Extension Service (CSREES); the National Consumers League (NCL) LifeSmarts program; the University of Maryland; the University of Vermont; the University of Nebraska; the University of Georgia; and the University of Missouri.
The Foundation's subject matter experts and instructional designers were an integral part of the Consumer Savvy book design team. Our e-learning designers developed the Cyber Savvy Arcade e-learning games and the Consumer Savvy Web portal.
The complete Consumer Savvy program consists of a series of four books and an interactive web portal with e-learning games. The program educates approximately 25,000 elementary, middle and high school students each year about a myriad of consumer education topics.
