Association for Financial Counseling and Planning Education

AFCPE is a non-profit, professional organization comprised of researchers, academics and financial counselors, educators and planners. It seeks to promote improved personal financial management education; education, training and certification of financial counseling and planning professionals; and research in personal financial management. AFCPE has recognized each of the Foundation's flagship publications, MILITARY MONEY® and YOUNG MONEY®, with its Outstanding Consumer Financial Information Award in 2004 and 2005, respectively. InCharge serves AFCPE through active committee level leadership, publishing research findings and offering presentations at AFCPE conferences on consumer credit and debt topics.
