IDS 18 Month Panel Study: Selected Findings from the 2003 and 2005 Surveys

Research Objectives
  • To measure changes in the personal finances of a panel sample of financially distressed consumers over 18 months.
  • To contrast the personal finances of a sample of active IDS clients with a control group as well as those who dropped out of the debt management program.
  • To determine the effect of 3 incentive conditions, if any.
