America Shops 4th Quarter 2006
InCharge® Education Foundation (ICEF) commissions quarterly studies, and their purpose is to explore the condition of a large national sample of the general U.S. adult population, relating to personal finance. This paper will focus on answers to four questions related to holiday spending. Specifically, we asked if they make a budget for holiday spending, do they spend more than they planned, can they actually afford to buy as much as they do, and how long it will take to pay for those holiday purchases.
